SAUSAGE ROLLS

Make a shortcrust pastry (recipe given under PASTRY - Shortcrust)
but using about 400 gms flour.
Sausages - either chicken or  pork

Take small portions of the dough and roll out into thin rectangles. Place a sausage into the middle. Brush the dough with milk and fold over pressing the edges to seal . Repeat till dough is used up. Brush the rolls with milk and place on a baking sheet. Bake at Gas Mark 6 for about 15 minutes, then lower the heat and bake till golden.
