EGGS MORNAY


5 hard boiled eggs
1 oz butter
a little nutmeg
salt & pepper
1 1/2 oz grated cheese
1/4 pint white sauce


Cut the eggs into thick slices and place them on w buttered oven proof dish. Sprinkle the nutmeg and salt and pepper. Add the cheese to the white sauce  mix and pour over the eggs. Sprinkle some more grated cheese and little bits of butter. Brown the surface under a grill or in a hot oven and serve.
