Healthy option No.1
3 cups whole wheat flour

OPTION No.2
2 cups whole wheat flour +1 cup all purpose flour (maida)

OPTION No.3
3 cups all purpose flour

2 tablespoons oil + pure ghee
Salt to taste
Water

METHOD

Sieve the flour. Make a well in the centre and add salt, oil and enough water to make a stiff dough. To finish off the dough apply a little pure ghee. Next divide the dough into equal sized balls. Roll out one ball just a little, apply a thin film of ghee and sprinkle a little flour. Take a knife and starting from the middle make a cut. Roll up the dough from the cut in a circular motion. Twist the dough and flatten into a rough ball. Complete all the dough in this manner. Next with the help of flour roll out each ball into a thick chappati. Roast on a hot griddle (tava) with a dash of ghee. (The methodology is the same as for cooking chapattis. Serve hot. *********
