MASALA VAAL NI DAR

This is also averakai but the dried pulse version.

1 seer vaal
1 ripe mango (in season), optional
2/3 large cubes red pumpkin
1 small brinjal,
1 potato
2 onions
2 tomatoes
SPICES : Cumin, tirmeric, dhanajeera,chilli powder, 
ginger garlic paste
green chillies
coriander leaves
garam masala

Grind ginger, garlic, green chillies and coriander leaves together. Cut the mango.
Add the pumpkin, brinjal,chopped onions,potato,turmeric and salt and cook and the dal and cook. When the dal starts to split add the ground masalas and tomatoes. When the water is almost dry and the dal is cooked add the dhanajeera and garam masala and make it dry.
