There are some ancient high protein grains which have healing properties
..................amaranth, quinoa, teff and buckwheat. They are full of rich fiber, B vitamins and phytonutrients and are quite filling too.

In order to preserve their nutrients cook the grains without excess water and until just tender as overcooking diminishes their phytochemicals.

Studies suggest that buckwheat protein has a cholestrol lowering property comparable to and possibly more effective than soy protein.
