CASHEW SQUARES

1 CUP CHOPPED & WARMED CASHEWS
1 CUP SUGAR
80 GMS BUTTER
1 TBSP GOLDEN SYRUP
1 TIN CONDENSED MILK

Melt the butter and add the golden syrup and sugar to it. Cook over a very low heat till the sugar has dissolved. Add the condensed milk and keep stirring and cooking till the mixture forms a small ball when dropped into some cold water. Add the cashews and remove from heat. Pour into a greased tray to cool .......cut into diamonds or squares when cool. If you use a knife dipped in hot water and wiped dry ...it will make the cutting easier.
