Poultry - which means CHICKEN, DUCK  AND TURKEY .........are loaded with essential amino-acids, B. Vitamins and minerals which help to ensure proper brain and digestive function, a healthy immunity and skin. They contain iron, lysine, niacin, selenium, tryptophan, Vit B6, Vit B12 and zinc. A vitrual arsenal for good health . Its generally the skin that has the fat so either use skinless meat or chicken............... or roast/grill or broil with the skin on to preserve moisture ......but do remove the skin before you eat.
In fact I would go so far as to say not eating it can lead to allergies, asthma, depression,  insomnia, anxiety etc etc.
