Grind garlic / cumin seeds / green or red chillies / 2 chopped onions / 2 chopped tomatoes a few curry leaves 2 tablespoons rice flour
juice of 2 large limes
1/2 kg cleaned prawns with salt applied
milk from 1 coconut
Cooked rice to serve
Place oil in a large non-stick vessel and heat. Add the curry leaves and the ground masala and saute till a light golden brown. Add the coconut milk and allow to simmer till well blended. Add the lime juice and the prawns and put off the stove in 2 minutes. Don't overcook the prawns. Serve with white rice or for a gourmet meal ... saffron rice.
To make saffron rice .... blend the saffron in half a jam bottle of water in the microwave and add to cooked white rice or cook the rice in the saffron water.
Serve with a parsi salad of chopped onions / chopped tomatoes / cucumber / green chilli / chopped coriander leaves.
