PRAWN KEBABS

Prawn Kebabs - YUMMY
1/2 kg prawns, cleaned and chopped }
1 tsp garlic/cumin seeds/green chillies paste}
2 small potatoes boiled and mashed
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp pepper powder
1 onion finely chopped
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
2 green chillies chopped fine
3 eggs
salt to taste
oil for frying
Roughly chop the prawns and apply garlic paste first. Then mix all the other ingredients in including the eggs. Heat oil in a small vok or a thick bottomed pan and drop in small rounds of the prawn batter. Fry till they are a golden brown. For a crisper surface either roll the prawn rounds in fine semolina or fine crumb and then fry.
These are delicious as finger food for a party.
They may be served with dhansak., or as a side dish to cooked vegetables or a tomato gravy.
