CITRUS FRUITS - VITAMIN C
Humans cannot manufacture Vitamin C in their bodies......nor can they store the vitamin if consumed in excess of daily requirement. The excess will be eliminated through the urine. So you must consume a little of this vitamin every day.
Some common sources of Vitamin C are oranges, lemons and limes, grapefruit, kiwi fruit. The rind of oranges and lemons are very important as they contain linonene which is thought to help enzymes to deactivate cancer causing substances in the body.
