I would get you the best offers available for your money plus any free gifts or products at half price if any.

We in India are exposed to even more lead because we insist on storing our food in cheap or expensive branded plastic boxes and give our children plastic bottles to carry water. Lead leaching into food and water that is stored in regular plastic does cause lead poisoning.

You should be aware that that all plastic is made by using Lead, even when it is labeled food grade.

THE ONLY LEAD FREE PLASTIC IS TUPPERWARE.

It is important for you to know that ……just so that you do not think that Tupperware is just an expensive plastic.

It is expensive : BECAUSE IT IS : LEAD FREE, IT IS VIRGIN PLASTIC, USES VEGETABLE DYES SO THAT IT IS NON-TOXIC, IS BIO-DEGRADABLE, IT IS AIR-TIGHT, THE INSIDES OF TUP CONTAINERS ARE SMOOTH WHICH DO NOT ALLOW CREEPY CRAWLIES TO BREED.

Another important factor is that “microwave Tupperware containers” are truly microwave safe and do not release ‘DIOXINS’ AS NORMAL PLASTIC WOULD WHEN USED IN A MICROWAVE.

Even storing food in stainless steel is full of drawbacks.

Knowledge is power, power to change that which you can for
your own benefit.

MISLED BY LEAD ????

I am quoting below three/four articles that have caught my attention since January this year.

CHILDREN EXPOSED TO LEAD AT RISK OF ALZHEIMER’S
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Children’s exposure to lead could lead to Alzheimer’s later in life, according to a study. Researchers in the US have carried out the study and found that lead has toxic side effects, associated with degenerative conditions of the brain….which can appear decades after children are exposed.
We are not saying that lead exposure causes Alzheimer’s disease, but it’s a risk factor, lead researchers of the University of Rhode Island in Kingston was quoted by the New Scientist as saying. The researchers came to the conclusion after analyzing the effects of the heavy metal on a group of baby monkeys. They fed the animals infant formula milk with low levels of lead and then followed their progress until the age of 23.
While the adult monkeys did not reveal symptoms of Alzheimer’s per se, post mortem analyses of their brains showed that the lead fed monkeys had plaques and abnormalities identical to those found in brains of people with Alzheimer’s. What’s more, comparative analysis of RNA in their brains showed 3 key genes linked with Alzheimer’s disease were 50 to 100 % more active in lead-fed monkeys than those who were given normal food.

LEAD INCREASES AGING IN OLDER BRAINS : STUDIES
=================================
Could it be that the “natural” mental decline that afflicts many older people is related to how much lead they absorbed decades before ?
That’s the provocative idea emerging from some recent studies…part of a broader area of new research that suggests that some pollutants can cause harm that shows up only years after someone is exposed. The new work suggests that long-ago-lead-exposure can make an aging person’s brain work as if it’s 5 years older than it really is. If that is verified by more research …..it means that sharp cuts in environmental lead levels more than 20 years ago didn’t stop its widespread effect. We’re trying to offer a caution that a portion of what has been called “normal aging” might in fact be due to ubiquitous environmental exposures like lead, says a leader in the study of lead’s delayed effect at John Hopkin’s University. The fact that it’s happening with lead is the first proof of principle that’s its possible. Other pollutants like mercury and pesticides may do the same thing.

LEAD AFFECTING CHILDREN (23-3-2008)
=========================
The presence of lead in water was harming the IQ of children in a big way and immediate steps must be taken to control this, says Secretary General of the Quality Control of India.
Speaking to reporters he said “THOSE IN THE 0-7 AGE GROUP ARE SEVERLY AFFECTED FOLLOWED BY THOSE IN THE 7-14 AGE GROUP. The permissible limit of lead in water was below 15 micrograms per litre in developed nations presently…..while India was still clinging to the 1976 standards and permitted 50 micrograms per litre, and, even this not regulated properly and water samples taken from many parts in Karnataka and other states revealed 150 to 200 micrograms in a litre.
The presence of a toxic substance like lead in oil paints and batteries were very harmful to children……………..

**********

“ The human body needs a diet enriched with many ingredients that sound less like food. We must have iron, copper, chromium, cobalt and zinc, etc, for the proper functioning of our body. But when it comes to LEAD, THE UNIVERSAL MINIMUM DAILY REQUIREMENT IS ZERO.”
And for humans, especially infants and young children consumption of even moderate amounts of lead can have serious consequences. Developing brains seem to be extremely sensitive to the effects of the metal, which is why many scientists were
DISTRAUGHT by the latest news of lead paints being used on children’s toys.
I’m not normally a rabble rouser, but I’m disturbed by the potential enormity of this problem said Mr. J.R.Knowles, professor of chemistry and biochemistry at Harvard.
We’re talking about an entire generation of children being exposed to constraints on their neurological development.

The above are quotes from the Deccan Herald.
