BRAISED LAMB CHOPS

5 lamb chops 1/2 inch thick
2 carrots
1 onion
1 turnip
2 stalks celery
1 tablespoon oil
2 cups water
salt and pepper
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder

Trim and wash the chops. Cut vegetables in thick pieces. Preheat the cooker, add fat.Lightly brown the chops on both sides. add the vegetables and lightly fry. Add seasoning and water. Close the cooker and cook for 15 minutes. Let the cooker cool slowly before opening.
