SWEET AND SOUR LIME PICKLE

1 KG LEMONS
600 GMS SUGAR
200 GMS SALT
2 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER
3 TSP GARAM MASALA POWDER
1 TSP BLACK SALT
2 CUPS WHITE VINEGAR

Wash and wipe the lemons till dry. Slit thinly into round slices leaving the bottom intact and place in a clean dry jar. Add the sugar, salt garam masala, black salt and red chilli powder. Lastly add the vinegar and shake well.

Keep in the sun for at least 1o days till the peel turns soft.
