LAGAN NU CUSTARD - PARSI STYLE CARAMEL CUSTARD

CUSTARD FIT FOR WEDDINGS
(LAGAN NU CUSTARD)


4 Cups full cream milk 
1/2 cup condensed milk
1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs beaten
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp cardamom/nutmeg powder
a few almonds, blanched and slivered


Add the sugar to the milk and boil till it is reduced to half. Add the condensed milk and keep aside to cool. Add the beaten eggs, vanilla essence and the cardamom/nutmeg powder. Pour into a baking dish and bake till golden on top. Cool and refrigerate. Cut into wedges and serve.
